Rogers Industries have cast a wide variety of irrigation pipes and fittings. The challenge for our customer was ensuring there was a cavity in their product through which water can flow. Using our expertise in sand coring, we are able to include an internal cavity as well as catering for a brass insert which is further machined during post-processing. Post process on a conventional 3-axis mill allows for the drilling and tapping of the insert whilst also machine a flat surface for a rubber seal.
